Day 2
Breakfast. Pick up at the hotel between 07:45 am and 08:00 am to take a City tour. As the starting point of our tour, we have the Miraflores Locks Visitor Center, of the Panama Canal, at this site, the activities include appreciating the lock viewpoint and be able to enjoy a 3D documentary film (Imax) about the History of the Canal, narrated by Morgan Freeman. The time at this site can be from 1h:30m to approximately 2hrs. After the visit to the Panama Canal, we made a stop at an Artisan Market, which is highly requested by visitors because they can purchase souvenirs from the country they are visiting. The usual time on this site is 30 minutes.
Once we finished the stop at the Artisan Market, we headed to the next point, which includes the Old Town of Panama City. Once we get off the bus to do our circuit, the respective instructions are given to all passengers. Within the Old Town, the circuit includes a visit to Plaza Herrera, Convent of the Jesuits or company of Jesus, Plaza Mayor, Metropolitan Cathedral and Plaza Quinto Centenario. As we go through all these points, a due explanation is made of everything we observe around us.
It should be noted that the Old Town has a wide series of historical monuments, churches and convents, which is why a tour without a vehicle can take 3 to 4 hours, which is why we offer a Historical Tour to be able to more fully enjoy all its features. attractive.
After the circuit in the Old Town, we enjoyed the panoramic view of the Modern City of Panama, and later we visited the Amador Causeway, a set of four Islands connected by an artificial road, created thanks to the debris of the Interoceanic Canal. . At this site we take a panoramic tour of the Naos, Perico, Culebra and Flamenco islands. However, in the latter, the route includes two stops. Once the 30 minutes provided to customers for shopping at the Duty Free have finished, at the end we go to the last point of the tour, which corresponds to the shopping time at Albrook Mall. When we arrive at the Center Commercial, clients are provided with all the information and schedule dynamics for picking up from the Mall so they can return with our bus to their respective hotels.
