Visit South Africas famed National Park - Kruger on this 3 day tour.
Day 1: Johannesburg Kruger National ParkDeparting the city, we travel via Middelburg and Nelspruit to the famed Kruger National Park, one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the world at 19 485 sq km it is roughly the size of Israel or Wales. The area is incredibly diverse in both fauna and flora - from the dwarf mongoose to the famed Big Five, prolific birdlife and over 330 varieties of trees. With our Eagle-eyed guide at the wheel, we make our way to our camp situated on the banks of the Sabie River where we will enjoy dinner under the African stars.
Day 2: Kruger National ParkRising early, we set off in our vehicle in search of the Big 5, and other amazing wildlife over 505 species of birds, 148 species of mammals and many reptiles that inhabit the park during the morning and late afternoon an avoid the hot midday sun to enjoy some relaxing time at one of the rest camps along the way. There are many facilities available for game viewers such as restaurants, souvenir stores and swimming pools. For those wanting more game driving there may be the option of heading out on a night safari.
Day 3: Kruger National Park - JohannesburgToday, we enjoy our last game drive in this magnificent park in hope to catch a glimpse of any of the amazing wildlife we may have missed over the last few days before exiting the park. On our drive back to the city, we enjoy scenic mountain passes with stunning views of the Drakensberg escarpment and visit many of the wonderful sites of the area, The Pinnacle, Gods Window, Lisbon Falls, Bourkes Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon, before arriving in Johannesburg where we end our tour.
