Ancestral Puno 04 Days - 03 Nights

DAY 01: PUNO IN

Reception at Juliaca Airport and transfer to the hotel in Puno City. (1 hr approx.)

Rest and acclimatization. Accommodation in Puno

DAY 02: PUNO – UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS

Breakfast.

07:30 hrs In the morning, transfer to the port of Puno where you will begin the lake crossing to the floating island of the Uros, which are a group of floating islands formed from totora reeds. There, the “Uros” inhabitants are the descendants of the oldest cultures in America. You will appreciate their peculiar lifestyle and their creations such as the production of wool fabrics and stuffed animals. Then, you will visit Taquile Island and have time for exploration and shopping in the community. In the afternoon, return to Puno. Accommodation in Puno.

DAY 03: ARAMU MURU - SILLUSTANI

Breakfast at the hotel. 08:00 Start of the activity. A stop will be made in Chucuito, an interesting colonial town that houses the remains of a curious Inca temple called the temple of fertility or "Inca Uyo", where there are around 20 phalluses carved in stone, a sign of having been a ritual center dedicated to fertility. After this stop, you will continue south to go to the Aramu Muru portal, located within a stone forest. Return to Puno.

14:00 hrs You will leave for the Chullpas of Sillustani, on the way you will have the opportunity to visit Waru-waru, a place that is an interesting pre-Inca agricultural area, then you will visit the houses of the inhabitants of the area to learn about their culture and lifestyle. You will also visit the Chullpas of Sillustani, made up of gigantic cylinders known as "chullpas". It is the necropolis of the great dignitaries of the Tiahuanaco culture, who populated the highlands more than three thousand years ago. Finally, you will appreciate the Laguna Umayo. Return to your hotel. Accommodation in Puno.

DAY 04: PUNO OUT

Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time, transfer to Juliaca Airport.
