Trogir is a historical town and port located on the Adriatic coast in the Split-Dalmatia County of Croatia. The ancient city of Trogir is positioned on a small island nestled between the Croatian mainland and the island of Čiovo. Since 1997, Trogir's historical center has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trogir is a gem of a town, surrounded by 15th-century walls. Its tiny medieval streets meander through the captivating town, revealing hidden eateries and striking art galleries. A broad seaside promenade winds around the town, ending in a delightful port filled with sailboats ready to transport you to the islands of Drvenik Mali and Drvenik Veli, known for their untouched sandy beaches and secluded bays. The ancient ruins of the Roman city of Solin are also within a short driving distance from Trogir, offering an exceptional day trip opportunity. Approximately 3km from Trogir, on the island of Čiovo, lies the town of Okrug Gornji. This town boasts a 1km long beach lined with numerous bars situated right next to the sea. The Kamerlengo Fortress, located at the waterfront, is a 14th-century fortress constructed to monitor access to the harbor and the bay of Kastela.
