Rădăuți is a city in Suceava County, in the north-eastern part of Romania. It is located in the historical region of Bukovina. Rădăuți is the third largest urban area in the county, with a population of 23,822 people, as per the 2011 census. It was declared a municipality in 1995, along with two other cities in Suceava County: Fălticeni and Câmpulung Moldovenesc. Rădăuți spans an area of 32.30 km2 (12.47 sq mi) and it was the capital of the former Rădăuți County (until 1950).
