Cremona Italy

The municipality of Cremona is situated in the South of the Lombardy region. The municipality is renowned for its agricultural activity and as such, all its tourist activity is centred around agro tourism, thanks to the initiatives that are being taken in this area. However, the city also has places of interest to visit such as: -Cathedral (Duomo): This impressive example of Lombard art was started in the Romanesque style, but subsequent modifications were added by Gothic and Renaissance parts. On the left side is a Bell-Tower, the Torazzo, which is the tallest in Italy, standing at 112 meters high. It was constructed in the 13th century and retains a clock from the 16th century, and the city's coat of arms, in which the Romanesque stands out. -Palazzo Munizipale: a magnificent Palace from the 13th century, renovated in the Renaissance style, it houses a Stradivarius and a few Amati. The façade is notable for the terracotta added during the Renaissance.
