Mora d'Ebre Spain

Mora d'Ebre is the capital of the Ribera d' Ebre, the northernmost region of Terres de l' Ebre. Located right on the river, on the slope of a small hill where the remains of Castle Mora stand, the village offers picturesque images of whitewashed façades. The scenic old town, located next to the Castle and the Prioral Church, is a maze of narrow alleyways full of history. The main touristic attractions of Mora d’Ebre are the Castle where you can still see the outer walls and two towers, the Ermita de San Jerónimo and the bridge of arches, which is the most representative symbols in the village. If you're curious about history, make your way to the neighboring town of Móra la Nova, for a visit to the Railway Interpretation Centre. This region had traditionally been the main junction for trains coming to Catalonia from all over Spain. Near Mora d'Ebre you’ll find the beautiful towns of Miravet, Fiix, Riba-Roja and Tivissa.
