Combarro Spain

Combarro is a parish in the municipality of Poyo, in the Galician province of Pontevedra (Spain). Until the beginning of the 20th century it was an independent municipality. The 1999 census registered 1,567 inhabitants and the 2004 census, 1,668. It is a seafaring town, close both to the provincial capital, Pontevedra (7 km), and to other recognized towns such as Sangenjo. The most remarkable thing is its old area, where there are a large number of granaries and cruises, in addition to the parish church. It has been declared an asset of cultural interest as a Historic Complex and as a Historic Site.
