Medellín Lights Up Emotions

December 28: Day 1 Medellín Light Tour: Arrival in the city of Medellín, assistance at José Maria Córdova International Airport, and transfer to the hotel for check-in.

At the agreed time, pick-up in the hotel lobby to start and enjoy the light tour (walking tour), a magical journey through Medellín transformed by millions of Christmas lights. Enjoy this spectacular guided night tour, visiting well-lit local landmarks such as the Parque de las Luces and the Medellín River. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

December 29: Day 2 Medellín – Peñol and Guatapé: Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, we will enjoy the wonders of the municipality of Nuevo Peñol and Guatapé to discover the beauty of the replica of Viejo Peñol and enjoy the unique view of the reservoir from a boat. Then, experience beautiful landscapes from the top of Piedra del Peñol (ascent not included, payable at the destination). Afterwards, we will tour some picturesque streets of Guatapé, the zócalos on building facades, and the boardwalk. You will visit 100% local artisan shops (Plazoleta de los Zócalos). Time to enjoy a typical regional lunch. Return to the city of Medellín and accommodation.

Not included: Ascent to Piedra del Peñol, boat tour on the Peñol-Guatapé reservoir (available at destination).

December 30: Day 3 Medellín Comuna 13: Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, we will start the visit to Comuna 13 of Medellín, touring the graffiti that highlight places that have marked history. These murals have been created by various local artists, sharing stories that inspire hope. The tour ends with a visit to the iconic Escaleras Eléctricas of Comuna 13.

Transfer to José Maria Córdova International Airport to catch the flight (not included) to the next destination or return home.
