DAY 02 - SALTA
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon City Tour visiting the most attractive sites of the city: Cathedral Basilica from 1855 and where the remains of General Güemes are located, Cultural Center of the Americas, Historical Museum of the North (Cabildo) with exhibitions of sacred art and rooms dedicated to ancient Salta families, Minor Basilica of San Francisco, San Bernardo Convent of the Carmelite order, Monument to Güemes, ascent of Cerro San Bernardo and its panoramic view of the city, passing by the 20 de Febrero Monument where it was held the Battle of Salta) and Park, visit to the summer village San Lorenzo on the outskirts of the city with its subtropical microclimate and the Artisan Market where crafts with certification of origin from the entire province are exhibited
At the end of the tour, return to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 03 - SALTA
Breakfast. At the time agreed with the guide, a full-day excursion will take place to Quebrada de Humahuaca.
A trip through the Quebrada declared a World Heritage Site, where the landscape and colors of the hills combine with the equally colorful cultures that inhabit this area. It is a trip of social contact and a view of the ancestral. It begins with the arrival to the Pueblito de Purmamarca to observe the Cerro de los Siete Colores, the Church and the Artisan Market in the square. I pass by the Posta de Hornillos, continuing towards the town of Tilcara to visit the Pucará and the Archaeological Museum. Continue towards Huacalera, a pass in the Tropic of Capricorn, from where you can see the colors of the hill called Pollera de la Colla. Visit to the Church of Uquía, where the paintings of the Arquebusier Angels are found (an important vestige in the area of the Cuzqueña school). Arrival in Humahuaca with its important Cathedral and the Independence Monument (El Indio) by the sculptor Soto Avendaño. Return after lunch to observe the Painter's Palette from the route that frames the town of Maimara. Arrival in San Salvador de Jujuy where we will visit the Hall of the Flag and the Cathedral Church, with its characteristic pulpit carved in wood and laminated in gold and the statues of Lola Mora. If time permits, I return to Salta along the cornice road with abundant subtropical vegetation. I pass through the Abra de Santa Laura, observing the La Ciénaga dam, Las Maderas and Campo Alegre, and returning to Salta through Vaqueros.
At the end of the excursion, return to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 04 - SALTA
Breakfast. Free day. We suggest taking an optional excursion to continue getting to know the region. We recommend FD Cafayate or FD San Antonio de los Cobres.
DAY 05 - SALTA
Breakfast. At the schedule agreed with the guide, transfer to the airport for boarding to Buenos Aires (air not included) and end of our services.
