This Southeast and Mediterranean Route unfolds as a canvas of contrasts and diverse beauty in the southeast of Spain. This itinerary fuses cultural and natural richness into an experience that transcends time. From coastal landscapes to inland lands, the route reveals the diversity that characterizes this region. We start the Route in La Font de la Figuera. Famous for its wine and olive oil production, visitors can taste these local products and be captivated by the city's old town. You will arrive at the end of the afternoon at the accommodation we chose with time to rest a little before going out for dinner in a Typical Restaurant. After a full day I return to the accommodation to rest.

Have an early breakfast and go out to discover La Font de la Figuera. We will do the Capurutxo Trail. The dryland landscape dotted with vineyards of La Font de la Figuera has a special charm, you cannot miss the most spectacular viewpoint of this municipality, the top of Capurutxo, the highest peak in the region. A beautiful mountain with great views! Perhaps along the way you will find one of the ancient and numerous lime kilns that dot its territory. Finishing the Route and before eating we will visit the Hermitage of Santa Bárbara, the Hermitage of San Sebastián and finally the Ethnological and Historical House-Museum of Font de la Figuera: A Journey to the Wine and Traditional Past in the Valencian Community. Immerse yourself in a fascinating journey through time at the CM Etnològica i Històrica of La Font de la Figuera. This unique museum, located in an old 18th century winery known as Les Masseretes, is a treasure that captures the essence of the wine-growing past and the traditions rooted throughout the Valencian Community. Inside, you will discover one of the most authentic testimonies of the traditional winemaking process. The ancient underground jars, carefully preserved, tell us about times when skill and knowledge came together to create this delicious and ancient drink. Tools and machines used in this craft, meticulously arranged, will transport you to a time when each stage of winemaking was an art in itself. We will then invite you to eat one of the typical dishes of the region, in a restaurant. typical. After eating we say goodbye to La Font de la Figuera and we will continue our route to the next Magical Town, Montesa. It sits in an elevated and privileged place from where you can admire the majesty of its valley. Nestled in a mound, transformed by forces other than those of nature, stands its castle. You will arrive at the end of the afternoon at the accommodation we chose with time to rest a little before going out to dinner at a Typical Restaurant. After a full day, return to the accommodation to rest.

Have an early breakfast and go out to discover Montesa. We start by visiting the Castle of Montesa. In 1319, Jaume II donated the old Islamic castle to become the headquarters of the military order of Santa María de Montesa, thus transforming it into one of the strongest castles in the kingdom of Valencia. It housed the Sacred Convent of the Institution, all of which was affected by a strong earthquake in 1748, you can admire its fantastic Gothic chapter house and other rooms. Next, we will visit the Church of l'Assumpció, presiding over the Plaza de La Vila. It is an austere Baroque temple with a single nave with chapels between buttresses. It is interesting to visit the chapel of the virgin that follows the Valencian baroque ornamental guidelines and to see its pictorial altarpieces from the sixteenth century. We will end the tour by visiting the Oil Museum. Installed in an old oil mill, it preserves the old machinery and all the necessary tools for the extraction of olive oil. It is a didactic museum that explains the process of elaboration through audiovisuals. At the end of the visit we will invite you to lunch, in a local restaurant. After lunch we say goodbye to Montesa and continue our route to the next Magical Town, Simat de la Valldigna. Have an early breakfast and set off to discover Simat de la Valldigna. We start with the Monastery of Santa María de la Valldigna. In Cistercian style, it was founded in 1298 by King Jaime II El Justo and was inhabited until 1835, when Mendizábal was confiscated. Next, we will visit the Chapel of the Mare de Déu de Gràcia. Baroque in style, it is part of the architectural complex of the Monastery. It is located outside the walls, next to the Portal Nou, and dates from the eighteenth century. Its architraves door of pink marble and above it the coat of arms of the lordship of La Valldigna stand out. We will then invite you to eat one of the typical dishes of the region, in a typical restaurant. After lunch we say goodbye to Simat de la Valldigna and continue our route to the nearby Magical Villages, Nules and Mascarell. A coastal city with fine sandy beaches and a lively nightlife, with important historical monuments such as the Church of the Blood or the Church of the Sagrada Familia. Have an early breakfast and head out to discover Nules and Mascarell. We start by visiting the Roman Villa of Benicató. It is an important Roman villa that was both an agricultural exploitation and a residence. It is located on the outskirts of the city, among the current orange orchards, about two and a half kilometres from the current coastline. The remains found indicate that they would have been inhabited between the first century B.C. and the fourth century A.D., having their period of splendor in the second century A.D. Next, we will visit La Capilla de La Soledad. It is a beautiful example of Rococo architecture in the Valencian Community, of measured and slender proportions. Of note are the rockeries that adorn both the arches and the vault and the dome, as well as the allegorical reliefs to four painful passages in the life of the Virgin. In the central niche an image of the Virgin of Solitude, from the end of the seventeenth century, is venerated. We continue visiting 2 Museums in Nules: The Enrique Giner Medal Museum: It was created in 1995 and is installed in the old hermitage of San Miguel, from the eighteenth century. It is the only museum in Spain dedicated to this art. And the Museum of History of Nules: Installed in the old Church of the Blood, from the end of the sixteenth century. Through its collections of archaeology, ethnography and fine arts, it brings us closer to the history of Nules. We end our tour admiring the Walls of Mascarell. The only fully walled town in the Valencian Community. We will walk along its walls, enjoying the gardens in its main portal, contemplating the orange orchards from the Portal de l'Horta is a magical experience.
