#PUEBLOSMÁGICOS-Journey Through the Heart of Galicia: Charming Villages and Unique Flavors

Our adventure begins in O Vicedo, a coastal corner full of magic and nature in its purest form. Upon arrival, we will check in at Casa Lamelas at 2:00 pm, a charming accommodation where we can rest and prepare for an unforgettable trip.

In the afternoon, at 4:00 pm, we will meet our local guide to discover the secrets of this fishing village on a half-day guided tour lasting approximately two hours. During the tour, we'll explore the old town, admiring its cobblestone streets and its history linked to the sea. In addition, we'll visit the impressive Praia de la Area, where the crystal clear waters and natural environment invite you to disconnect and contemplate.

In the evening, at 8:30 pm, we will enjoy dinner at Casa Lamelas, where we can enjoy an exquisite rice with lobster or a Galician hake, representative dishes of the local cuisine. To accompany dinner, an excellent local Godello wine will be served. After this delicious culinary experience, we'll retire to rest and prepare for the next day.

The day will start with a delicious breakfast at Casa Lamelas at 08:00, where we will enjoy local products and personalized service. At 09:00, we will embark on a guided tour of O Vicedo, a one-and-a-half-hour tour in which we will learn about the history of the city, its maritime tradition and its beautiful natural environment.

At 11:30 am, we will embark on a free hike to the impressive Punta de Fuciño do Porco, a trail that will offer us panoramic views of the Atlantic. The walk will last approximately one hour. At noon at 12:00 noon, we will return to the hotel to leave our luggage at the reception and continue with our day.

At 1:30 pm, we'll have lunch at Mesón O Remo or Chiringuito da Abrela, where we can choose between a delicious fish broth or an exquisite Galician-style octopus, both accompanied by a refreshing Albariño wine. With renewed energy, at 3:00 p.m., we will start our journey to Portomarín, a journey of approximately an hour and a half.

Upon arrival in Portomarín, we will check in at the Hotel Ferramenteiro at 4:30 pm, an accommodation with privileged views of the Belesar reservoir. After the installation, at 5:30 pm, we will start a guided tour of the old town of Portomarín, lasting two hours. During the tour, we will explore the majestic Church of San Nicolás, a jewel of Galician Romanesque rebuilt stone by stone after the construction of the reservoir.

At the end of the day, at 8:30 pm, dinner awaits us at the Hotel Ferramenteiro, where we will taste a traditional pork shoulder with turnip greens or a comforting stewed broth, accompanied by a treixadura wine. After dinner, we'll retire to rest and continue our journey.

The third day of our route begins with breakfast at the Hotel Ferramenteiro at 08:00, followed by a relaxing walk along the Old Bridge and the reservoir at 09:00, an activity that will allow us to admire the tranquility of the waters and the history of the city. This hike will last approximately one hour.

At 12:00 noon, we will return to the hotel to leave our bags at the reception, before heading to our hotel at 1:30 pm at the Pérez Restaurant or Mirador Restaurant, where we can choose between a healthy Galician stew or a delicious Galician barbecue, accompanied by a Mencía wine from the Ribeira Sacra.

At 3:00 p.m., we'll start the journey to Larouco, a journey of approximately one hour and forty minutes. Once at the destination, we will check in at El Rectoral de Larouco at 4:40 pm. After settling in, at 5:30 pm, we will participate in a guided tour of Larouco, lasting an hour and a half, where we will learn about the history of its stone architecture and its cultural legacy.

To end the day, at 8:30 pm, we will have dinner at El Rectoral de Larouco, where we can enjoy a steaming stewed broth  or a succulent stewed wild boar, accompanied by a Valdeorras wine. Finally, let's retire to rest to continue our adventure.

After a soothing breakfast at El Rectoral de Larouco at 08:00, we'll start the day with a nature trail at 09:00. We'll take the Rota de los Muíños, a path of watermills surrounded by exuberant nature, lasting an hour and a half.

At noon, at 12:00 pm, we will return to the hotel to leave our bags at the reception before heading to the Restaurant A Casa de Papel or A Cova da Xabreira at 1:30 pm, where we will be able to taste an exquisite stewed wild boar or grilled fresh fish, accompanied by an excellent local wine.

In the afternoon, at 3:00 p.m., we will leave for A Pobra de Trives, a thirty-minute trip. Once there, we will check in at Casa Grande de Trives at 3:30 pm. Later, at 5:00 p.m., we'll explore the city on a guided tour of its historic center, lasting an hour and a half, in which we'll discover its history and tradition linked to transhumance.

To close the day, at 8:30 pm, we will have dinner at Casa Grande de Trives, where we can taste a delicious botillo with potatoes and turnip greens or a comforting stewed broth, accompanied by a red wine from Ribeira Sacra. Finally, we will retire to rest to prepare for the next stage of our journey.

Our day starts with breakfast at Casa Grande de Trives at 08:00, enjoying local products and the tranquility of the surroundings. At 09:00 am, we will take a guided tour of the surroundings of A Pobra de Trives, exploring its history and cultural legacy. This tour will last approximately an hour and a half.

At 12:00 pm, we will return to the hotel to leave our bags at the reception before going to lunch at the A Cantina do Castro Restaurant or the Os Arandos Restaurant at 1:30 pm. Here we can taste a delicious Galician barbecue or an exquisite fresh grilled fish, accompanied by a Mencía wine from Ribeira Sacra.

With a full stomach and renewed energy, at 3:00 pm, we left for Ribadavia, a journey of one hour and ten minutes. Upon arrival, we will check in at Hotel Vintage Ribadavia or Pazo Carballo at 4:30 pm.

In the afternoon, at 5:30 pm, we will immerse ourselves in the history of Ribadavia with a two-hour guided tour of its old town and the Jewish quarter, where we will learn about its Sephardic legacy and its importance in the wine trade.

At 8:30 pm, we'll enjoy  dinner at our accommodation, where we'll taste a traditional Galician octopus or a comforting botillo with potatoes and turnips, paired with an excellent Godello wine. After dinner, we'll retire to rest the next day.

At 08:00, we will have breakfast at our accommodation before starting the day with a visit to a winery in Ribadavia at 09:30, where we will enjoy a tasting of Ribeiro wines and learn about the region's wine production. This experience will last approximately an hour and a half.

At 12:00 noon, we will return to the hotel to leave our bags at the reception and go to the A Comanda Restaurant or the O Pucheiro Restaurant at 1:30 pm to eat an exquisite grilled fresh fish or a Galician seafood dish, accompanied by a refreshing Albariño wine.

After lunch, at 3:00 pm, we will start our journey to Combarro, a journey of approximately one hour and forty minutes. Upon arrival, we will check in at Hotel Combarro or Hotel Xeito at 4:40 pm.

At 5:30 pm, we'll enjoy a guided tour of the historic center of Combarro, where we'll explore its cobblestone streets and its famous seaside granaries. This tour will last approximately an hour and a half.

To end the day, at 8:30 pm, we will have dinner at our accommodation with a delicious  Galician hake or rice with lobster, paired with an Albariño wine. After dinner, we'll retire to rest the next day.

The day will start with breakfast at our accommodation at 08:00. At 09:00, we will take a free tour of the Estuary viewpoints, a panoramic tour with impressive views of the Atlantic, which will last approximately an hour and a half.

At 12:00 noon, we will return to the hotel to leave our bags at the reception and go to the O Bocoi Restaurant or Tintanegra Restaurant at 1:30 pm, where we will taste a Galician seafood or a delicious Galician barbecue, accompanied by an excellent Albariño wine.

At 3:00 p.m., we will depart for Cambados, a short thirty-minute trip. Upon arrival, we will check in at the Hotel Villa Prado or the Parador de Cambados at 3:30 pm.

In the afternoon, at 5:00 pm, we will take a guided tour of the historic center of Cambados, exploring its imposing pazos and its winemaking tradition. This activity will last approximately an hour and a half.

At 8:30 pm, we'll have dinner at our accommodation, where we'll be able to taste an exquisite rice with lobster or a Galician hake, accompanied by an Albariño wine. After dinner, we'll retire to rest on the penultimate day of the trip.

The penultimate day of our trip begins with breakfast at our accommodation at 08:00, enjoying local products. At 09:00, we will visit a winery in Cambados, where we will discover the secrets of Albariño wine and enjoy a wine tasting. This experience will last approximately an hour and a half.

At 12:00 noon, we will return to the hotel to leave our bags at the reception before heading to the Yayo Daporta Restaurant, A Taberna do Trasno Restaurant or A Fonte do Viño Restaurant at 1:30 pm, where we will be able to taste an exquisite fresh grilled fish or a delicious Galician seafood, accompanied by a refreshing Albariño wine.

After lunch, at 3:00 p.m., we'll start our journey to Padrón, a journey of approximately forty-five minutes. Upon arrival, we will check in at Casa da Meixida or Hotel Scala at 3:45 pm.

In the afternoon, at 5:00 p.m., we'll delve into the literary history of Galicia with a guided tour of the emblematic places of Padrón, exploring the House-Museum of Rosalía de Castro and other corners linked to literature. The visit will last approximately an hour and a half.

To close the day, at 8:30 pm, we will have dinner at our accommodation with a delicious Galician hake or a traditional pork shoulder with turnip greens, paired with a Mencía red wine. After dinner, we'll retire to rest on the last day of the trip.

On our last day in Galicia, we will enjoy breakfast at our accommodation at 08:00, savouring the last moments in this land full of history and tradition. At 09:00 am, we will carry out a last free activity by visiting the Padrón Food Market, where we will be able to learn about the gastronomic richness of the area and buy local products, such as the famous Padrón peppers.

At 11:00 am, we will take a last tour of the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Barca, an emblematic place for pilgrims and a perfect place to reflect on the journey. We will enjoy the mysticism of this space and the views of the surroundings before lunch.

At 12:00 noon, we will check out of our hotel, thus ending our tour of Galicia. With hearts full of unforgettable memories and the promise of returning in the future, we will make our way back home.
