Merida, a World Heritage City, is a destination to relive the ancient Roman Empire. Its Roman theater is still functioning after 2,000 years of history. With a short walk through the city you will discover numerous other monuments that recall its past: a temple, the amphitheater, the circus, the baths, aqueducts, arches... You can complete your visit to the Roman Empire in Mérida with the National Museum of Roman Art.
