Day 1. Barranquilla: Arrival in the city of Barranquilla, assistance at Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport, and transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day 2. Barranquilla – City Tour: Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, pick-up from the hotel. We will learn about the history behind traditional places such as the El Prado neighborhood and the charm of its architecture, mansions, houses, streets, and its iconic hotel, which has more than 90 years of history and has hosted prestigious international figures. We will learn why Barranquilla was nicknamed "The Golden Gate" of Colombia, a pioneer in aviation, and the story behind the Founders' Park. We will pass by the Carnival House, the official headquarters of the country’s most important festival, and visit the Carnival Museum to see its various collections related to this grand celebration. We will continue by the Amira de la Rosa Theater; the open-air graffiti exhibition, and you will recognize the "Edgar Rentería" baseball stadium, one of the most important sports venues in the city. We will also visit the Plaza de la Aduana complex, which includes the Plaza de la Locomotora, the Montoya Station, and the Tramway Station. We will pass by the Fluvial Intendancy, a cultural heritage site of Barranquilla, and finally finish with a panoramic view of the "Ventana al Mundo" (Window to the World) and "Ventana de Campeones" (Window of Champions) until reaching the Grand Malecón del Río to enjoy the best view of the Magdalena River. Return to the hotel.

Day 3. Barranquilla – Gabo's Footsteps:Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, pick-up from the hotel. During the tour, we will learn about how Gabo lived in 1950, visiting places that were part of his daily routine, such as the famous “skyscraper” New York (where he spent his nights) or the area where the Mundo bookstore and Café Colombia were located, as he walked through the streets of Bolívar Avenue in downtown Barranquilla. We will also visit the city's most iconic sites, such as the San Nicolás Church, the Church of Perpetual Help (where he married his wife Mercedes Barcha), the Fluvial Intendancy, and the statue of García Márquez located in the Caribbean Cultural Park. Additionally, we will tour the El Prado neighborhood, one of the most traditional areas and the place of romantic meetings between Gabo and Mercedes. Later, we will arrive at the former headquarters of the Fine Arts, founded by Pedro Biava, an Italian who arrived in Barranquilla and inspired the character of Pietro Crespi in his book One Hundred Years of Solitude, not before visiting the La Cueva restaurant, a place honoring our Nobel laureate and the culinary richness of the Colombian Caribbean.
